Schovajsa, Mayer & Klesel, LLP
WHO WE ARE
Through three generations, Schovajsa, Mayer & Klesel, LLP has built its reputation by providing honest and knowledgeable legal services to individuals, businesses, and institutions across the state of Texas. We value the trust our clients place in us and honor that trust by performing all legal services with professionalism and total confidentiality.
Schovajsa, Mayer & Klesel, LLP was established in 1965 by Henry J. Schovajsa and Walter Oeltjen. Henry served as Fayette County Judge from 1951-1966, while Walter served as Fayette County Attorney from 1951-1962. After the two finished with their public service, the two longtime friends and colleagues decided to open a law firm together. So became Oeltjen & Schovajsa (now Schovajsa, Mayer & Klesel, LLP).
The firm still sits in the original building on the square in La Grange and is currently comprised of attorneys Benjamin Wm. Schovajsa, M. Chris Mayer, Hannah E. Bellue, and Shannon M. Raabe. Ben is the grandson of Henry Schovajsa and son of William H. Schovajsa, who practiced law at the firm from 1978 to 2016.
It is our mission to provide superior client service. This commitment to service includes providing transparent fees, realistic estimates of completion dates, and regular updates regarding the progression of your legal matter. If questions arise, we are a phone call away.
We look forward to serving you.
